Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865 - 1922)
An Austrian Art Nouveau cold-painted and patinated bronze sculpture "The Scout" by, Carl Kauba. The sculpture depicts a Native American Indian Scout perched on the side of a cliff with rifle in hand. The sculpture is finished in its original bronze patina and further poly-chromed throughout. The sculpture is signed on the base "C. Kauba" further impressed "AUSTRIA" and further impressed "GESCHÜTZT 6254"
