Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848 - 1933)
An American Art Nouveau cast bronze "Penguin Foot" table lamp base by, Tiffany Studios with a webbed foot decoration resembling that of a penguin foot with four arms outstretched from the base with a single bulb socket. The base retaining its original rich red brown patina and "GeCo" paddle switch socket The base is signed, "Tiffany Studios New York 461" and will accomadate a 12 in. diameter shade.
